Tattooing, for me, is a full-circle craft. I’m a full-time tattoo artist at Swan Family Ink in Moscow, Idaho, but the path to that chair started when I was 18—walking into the shop and asking the owner, Telisa, if she’d teach me. She didn’t shut the door. She just gave me a directive: go get an education first.
