I made this for the Moscow Film Society when they were screening ALIENS, and I wanted to see how far I could push ballpoint while still keeping it clean.

The whole idea was to do something a little wild—big diagonal type, that punchy, poster-y composition, and then let the Xenomorph take over the space like it’s breaking the layout. I kept the portraits tight and graphic to balance out how chaotic the creature is. It’s basically my love letter to the movie, but also to the challenge of doing “print energy” with a pen.

The green is honestly pretty sick—it gives it that weird, industrial glow—but if I’m being real, I’d love another crack at it someday. Same concept, same attitude… just sharper choices and a little more control.
